Vegetative composition study for Al-Hussin District, Al-Dhalaa Governorate- Yemen

Abstract
The investigation was carried out by field survey, during the period October 2013 – December 2014. The results of the vegetation survey were: 201 plant species, belonging to 135genera and following 53 families, were recorded. Out of these, there are 200 species of Angiosperms, of which 177 species of dicotyledonous and 23 species belong to monocotyledonous, while the pteridophyte is represented by one species.The nature of growth of the recorded species found that the bushes (shrub) were prevalent in the study area where representing 60 species, followed by perennial grasses and annuals herbs representing 59 species each, while trees and under bushes were less visible in the study area which represent 10 species for the trees and 13 for under bushes. The results of this study recorded two species of parasitic plants.
